1828 Capped Bust Dime – Ex. Hayes

Ex. Jimmy Hayes Collection, Stacks, October 1985, lot 19, where it was described: “Small date. Reduced size and stars. Gem Brilliant Uncirculated. A pristine example with but a microscopic contact mark or two from perfection. An outstanding specimen which probably does not have its equal. Lovely delicate russet-golden toning.”

Ex. Spring Sale, Stacks, lot 471, April, 1978.
